Caramel Apple Cider Float: Best Easy Fall Drink

  • Author: Emily
  • Total Time: 7 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

A quick and sophisticated fall drink that combines fresh apple cider, vanilla ice cream, and warm caramel sauce for a nostalgic, fizzy treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 32 ounces (1 liter) fresh-pressed apple cider
  • 4 scoops (about 2 cups) vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) warm caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Optional: Whipped cream
  • Optional: Cinnamon stick for garnish

Instructions

  1. Warm the caramel sauce in a small saucepan over low heat or microwave for 20-30 seconds until smooth and pourable.
  2. Drizzle warm caramel inside large glasses, swirling to coat the sides.
  3. Scoop two generous balls of vanilla ice cream into each prepared glass.
  4. Slowly pour cold apple cider over the ice cream, pouring down the side of the glass to minimize splashing.
  5. Drizzle additional warm caramel on top and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
  6. Serve immediately with a cinnamon stick as a stirrer.

Notes

For best results, chill glasses in the freezer for 15 minutes before serving. Use fresh-pressed cider rather than shelf-stable juice for better flavor. If the caramel is too thick, add a teaspoon of warm water. For an adult version, add 1 ounce of bourbon or rum per glass.
