Description
A quick and sophisticated fall drink that combines fresh apple cider, vanilla ice cream, and warm caramel sauce for a nostalgic, fizzy treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 32 ounces (1 liter) fresh-pressed apple cider
- 4 scoops (about 2 cups) vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 cup (120ml) warm caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Optional: Whipped cream
- Optional: Cinnamon stick for garnish
Instructions
- Warm the caramel sauce in a small saucepan over low heat or microwave for 20-30 seconds until smooth and pourable.
- Drizzle warm caramel inside large glasses, swirling to coat the sides.
- Scoop two generous balls of vanilla ice cream into each prepared glass.
- Slowly pour cold apple cider over the ice cream, pouring down the side of the glass to minimize splashing.
- Drizzle additional warm caramel on top and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
- Serve immediately with a cinnamon stick as a stirrer.
Notes
For best results, chill glasses in the freezer for 15 minutes before serving. Use fresh-pressed cider rather than shelf-stable juice for better flavor. If the caramel is too thick, add a teaspoon of warm water. For an adult version, add 1 ounce of bourbon or rum per glass.
