Frozen Strawberry Lime Mint Drink: 5 Min Refreshment

  • Author: Emily
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Description

A quick, refreshing frozen drink made with frozen strawberries, fresh lime juice, and mint. This slushy-style beverage is naturally sweet, hydrating, and takes only five minutes to prepare.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (300g) frozen strawberries
  • 34 tablespoons (45-60ml) fresh lime juice
  • 1012 large fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup (240ml) water or coconut water
  • 12 tablespoons (20-30ml) honey or agave nectar (optional)
  • Ice (optional, if fruit is not frozen enough)
  • Extra mint sprig for garnish
  • Thin lime wheel for garnish
  • Whole strawberry for garnish

Instructions

  1. Wash limes and mint leaves. Pat mint dry and remove tough stems.
  2. Squeeze limes to extract fresh juice, ensuring no pulp remains.
  3. Pour water or coconut water into the blender first.
  4. Add lime juice and honey/agave nectar to the liquid.
  5. Add mint leaves on top of the liquid.
  6. Add frozen strawberries on top of the mint.
  7. Start blending on low speed to break up the frozen berries.
  8. Once berries are chopped, increase to high speed and blend for 45-60 seconds until smooth and slushy.
  9. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more honey or lime juice if needed.
  10. Pour immediately into glasses and garnish with mint sprig and lime wheel.
  11. Serve with a wide straw and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Use frozen strawberries for the best thick, slushy texture without diluting the flavor with ice. If using fresh strawberries, freeze them for at least 4 hours beforehand. Blend on low first to protect the motor, then high for smoothness. Serve immediately as the drink separates and melts quickly.
